Daily Brief

The Daily Brief gives you an at-a-glance digest of your day inside Vū AI, pulling together your calendar, email, and tasks from your connected apps. It leads with a short, calendar-first summary of your day, highlights a couple of headline numbers, and offers a few one-click actions you can hand straight to Vū AI.

The Daily Brief is available to all Vū Studio users.

Where to Find It​

The Daily Brief appears on your app home screen and in the library, refreshing each morning so it's ready when you start your day.

You will see it as a card in two places:

  • On your home screen.
  • In the library, as part of the Vū AI teaser card.

The card:

  • Leads with a summary — a one-to-two sentence, calendar-first read on your day.
  • Shows up to two headline metrics — for example, meetings today or unread email.
  • Offers up to three suggested actions — see Suggested Actions.
  • Keeps the detail on demand — the full per-source breakdown (your schedule and other items) sits behind a View schedule expander.

The brief loads quietly in the background and refreshes each morning. You can also force an update at any time with the Refresh button on the card.

Connecting Your Apps​

The Daily Brief draws from the apps you connect to Vū Studio — such as your calendar, email, and tasks. Connect these from your integrations so the brief has something to summarize. Without any connected apps, the brief will prompt you to connect one to get started.

Connections are managed under Settings → Connected Apps in Vū AI — see Connected Apps for the full walkthrough. From there you can link accounts such as Gmail, Google Calendar, Drive, Docs, Slack, Jira, GitHub, and many others. The Daily Brief reads across the apps you connect — pulling calendar events, mail, tasks, and chat.

To get the most out of the Daily Brief:

  1. Open Connected Apps (from the brief's "connect apps" prompt, or from Settings in Vū AI).
  2. Connect at least a calendar — the brief is calendar-first, so this drives the summary and the "up next" line.
  3. Add email, task, and chat apps to enrich the digest.

The brief reads your connected apps read-only to build the digest — connecting an app lets Vū AI summarize it; it does not act on your behalf unless you ask.

If you have no apps connected, or nothing notable is found, the card nudges you to connect an app to get started.

Suggested Actions​

Along with the summary, the Daily Brief can surface a few suggested actions. Selecting one sends it straight into Vū AI so you can act on it right away.

Each suggested action is a short, labeled button tailored to what's in your day — for example, drafting a reply to an email, prepping for an upcoming meeting, or following up on a task. Selecting one opens Vū AI on a fresh chat with the action's request already sent, so Vū AI starts working on it immediately. From there you can review, refine, or approve whatever it produces.

The suggested actions change as your day changes. If you have just connected a new app or your calendar has shifted, use Refresh to regenerate the brief and get an up-to-date set of actions.
