AI Image Generation

Vū Studio integrates with multiple AI generation services so you can create custom backgrounds, textures, and video clips directly inside the app — no separate tools needed.

Generating an Image

1. Open the AI Assistant (chat icon in the left sidebar)
2. Type a description of the image you want: "A wide panoramic view of a neon-lit Tokyo street at night, rain on the pavement, cinematic"
3. The assistant sends the prompt to the generation model and returns the image
4. Click Save to Library to add it to your personal folder
5. Cast it to your display directly from the chat

Generation Models

Vū Studio uses multiple generation backends depending on the type of content:

Model	Best for
OpenAI DALL-E	Photo-realistic images, illustrations
Replicate models	Specialized styles, artistic renders
RunwayML	Video generation, motion effects

The assistant selects the most appropriate model based on your request.

Video Generation

For animated content or short clips:

• "Create a 5-second looping abstract particle animation in deep blue"
• "Generate a slow cinematic zoom into a foggy forest"

Video generation takes longer than images (30–120 seconds) and uses more tokens.

Generated videos are automatically saved to your library in MP4 format.

Inpainting (Image Editing)

Edit specific parts of an existing image:

1. Click the Attachment icon in the chat
2. Upload or select an image from your library
3. Click the Paint Brush icon to open the mask tool
4. Paint over the area you want to change
5. Describe what you want: "Replace this area with a mountain range"

The assistant uses the mask to confine edits to only the painted region.

Tips for Better Results

Be specific about style:

• ❌ "A background for a conference"
• ✅ "A dark, minimalist abstract background with subtle blue geometric lines, suitable for a corporate tech event, 16:9 landscape"

Include technical context:

• Mention aspect ratio if it matters ("widescreen 16:9")
• Mention the mood ("dramatic", "serene", "energetic")
• Mention what it's for ("LED wall background", "lower third texture")

Iterate:

• If the first result isn't quite right, follow up: "Make it darker and add more contrast" or "Same style but with warmer tones"

Token Usage

AI features consume tokens from your plan's monthly allocation. Generation tasks (images, video) use more tokens than search or questions. Monitor your remaining balance on the Account page (profile menu → Account).
