Interactive Map

The Interactive Map is a location-based creator tool integrated into Vū Studio. It lets you build and run interactive map and globe experiences for touch displays and kiosks, and you reach it from within Vū Studio alongside your other apps and pinned shortcuts.

note

The Interactive Map is an early integration (prototype). Its core tools are available now, and the integration continues to be expanded — some capabilities may change as it develops.

Opening the Interactive Map

The Interactive Map is surfaced through Vū Studio's app tiles and search, the same tabs / pinned-items system used for the rest of the app:

  1. Open the Home Screen (see App Home Screen →).
  2. Find the map creator tool among the app tiles — it appears under the Creator apps grouping, and you can also locate it from the search bar (search for "map" or "interactive").
  3. Click the tile to open it.

Because the link routes through Vū Studio's authentication before handing you off to the tool, you stay signed in — no separate login is required. The tool opens in a new browser tab, so your Vū Studio session stays open in its original tab.

tip

Pin the map creator tool to your Home Screen so it's always one click away. See Pinned Shortcuts →.

Maps and Globe Creator Tools

Two related creator tools are available for building location-based visuals:

  • Map Creator — build and run interactive map experiences.
  • Globe Creator — build and run interactive globe experiences.

Both appear as tiles on the Home Screen (under the Creator apps) and as results in the search bar, and both open in a new tab using the same stay-signed-in flow described above. Use Map Creator for flat, 2D map layouts and Globe Creator for 3D globe presentations.
