Creating a Vū Studio Account

A Vū Studio account is your key to controlling displays, managing media, and collaborating with your team. You can create one directly from the app or by scanning the QR code on a Vū display.

Option 1 — From the QR Code (Easiest for New Installs)​

  1. Power on the Vū One system — after startup, a QR code appears on the display
  2. Scan the QR code with your phone
  3. You're taken to the Vū Studio sign-up page with the player already linked
  4. Enter your email, create a password, and fill in your name
  5. Verify your email address
  6. You're in — and already connected to the display

Option 2 — From the Web​

  1. Navigate to one.vu.studio
  2. Click Sign up
  3. Enter your email and create a password
  4. Verify your email address
  5. Complete your profile (name, organization)
  6. Connect to your player (see Connecting to Your Wall →)

SSO / Single Sign-On​

Enterprise customers can log in with SSO. Navigate to Login → Sign in with SSO and enter your organization's domain. Contact support@vustudio.com to set up SSO for your organization.

Account vs Team​

Your account starts as a Personal account. If you're part of a team:

  • Ask your team admin to invite you from the Account page (Team Members → Invite Users)
  • You'll receive an email invitation with a link to join
  • After accepting, you can switch to the team profile to access shared storage, libraries, and player groups

Account Settings​

Manage your account from the Account page (open the profile menu in the top right and click Account).

Auto Sign-Out on Browser Close​

Team admins can require team members to be signed out automatically whenever they close their browser. On the Account page, under Team Settings, enable Auto sign-out on browser close.

This applies to the whole team and is useful for shared or kiosk machines where you don't want the next person to land in a signed-in session. Browsers configured to restore sessions on startup may bypass it, and if a member belongs to multiple teams, the setting applies if any of their teams has it enabled.

Forgotten Password​

Click Forgot password on the login page and enter your email. A reset link will be sent to your inbox.
