Connecting to Your Wall
Once your media server is set up and running, connecting Vū Studio to your display takes under a minute.

- You have a Vū Studio account (see Creating an Account →)
- Your controlling device (phone, laptop, tablet) is connected to the internet
Method 1 — Scan the QR Code (Recommended)
- On your mobile device, open the camera app
- Point it at the QR code displayed on your screen
- Tap the link that appears
- Log in to your Vū Studio account if prompted
- You're connected — the display shows your account name in the bottom right
Method 2 — Connect by ID
- On any device, navigate to one.vu.studio
- Log in to your account
- Click the connection indicator (circle icon in the top bar)
- Type the player ID shown below the QR code on your display
- Select it from the dropdown
Confirming the Connection
When connected:
- The circle indicator in Vū Studio turns green with your player name
- Your account name appears in the bottom right corner of the display
- The Library becomes active and you can start browsing content
Troubleshooting
The indicator stays red or yellow:
- Verify the player ID you entered matches the one on the display
- Check that the Windows machine has internet access (open a browser on the Windows machine and try google.com)
- Try refreshing the browser tab
- See Connection Troubleshooting →
The QR code isn't appearing:
- The software may still be loading — wait 30–60 seconds after startup
- If it never appears, the Vū Media Server software may have crashed — press F12 to open the Operator Menu and check for errors
