We have been hard at work on exciting changes to Virtual Studio, SceneForge, and Vū OS and those updates are headed your way!
The upcoming planned maintenance window is scheduled for the morning of May 8, 2024.
Highlights
SceneForge
- You can now manually set fractional angles for LED Walls
- You can now set the scale of LED Content identically to Vu One
- You can now auto set the scale to fit width or height
- You can now control Camera Rig properties via keyframe
- There is now an active camera indicator on the Outline Menu
Virtual Studio
- Context Menu — Introduced an improved way of interacting with actionable items through right-click context menu
- Sharing — Introduced a new sharing feature, enabling users to upload and share folders for better access management
- Camera Tracking — Added a button to directly link to the Virtual Studio Camera Tracking app from the mobile remote
- Folders now contain only references to media (external assets, shared media, or personal uploads)
- The new Uploads folder contains all user uploads
- Better share modal error handling and asset attribute saving fixes
VūOS
- You can now control the camera position to reframe the shot during active camera tracking
- Horizontal control is now in the range of -180 to 180, with 0 being default
- Improvements to startup sequence
- Further improved how extruded meshes are positioned for parallax accuracy
- Updated runtime engine version
- Improved asset caching logic and downloading UI
