Vū Studio Release — July 29, 2025

We have been hard at work on exciting changes to Vū Studio and SceneForge and those updates are headed your way!

The upcoming planned maintenance window is scheduled for the morning of July 29, 2025.

Improvements and New Features​

  • VU-1170 Easier exit from selection mode in media grid
  • VU-1238 Add support for dragging assets to remote via touch
  • VU-1331 Allow asset selection from top level of a scene
  • VU-1350 Better looking thumbnails for web assets
  • VU-1357 Better looking folder gradient thumbnails
  • VU-1406 Have F12 operator menu be static key binding, but allow re-bindable for the air mouse
  • VU-1417 Add Duplicate button to asset context menu
  • VU-992 Add the ability to copy an entire folder and its contents
  • VU-1363 Allow control and playback of local media from the web based library
  • VU-1381 Allow adjusting corner radius of assets and cropping of assets
  • VU-1386 Save local media attributes to disk on OS machine
  • VU-1378 Add ability to lock layers to prevent selection and editing
